Caruthers Football Player Playing for Team USA Against Canada
CARUTHERS, Calif. (KMPH) —
About 300 kids nationwide between the age of 14 and 18 have been selected to play for the U-S National Football team in a series of a games against Team Canada. One of those - for the U-17 team - Caruthers offensive lineman Zack Flores
This past summer, the Blue Raider participated in USA Football's National Development week, with and against some of the best prep athletes in the country. Flores says he was humbled, but used the experience as an opportunity to learn, and is working harder than ever to play at the next level.
Also heading to Texas for these International Bowl games are a trio from Immanuel - defensive back Tyler Hodges will play for the U-15 team, while wide receiver Jonathan Gurrola and linebacker Andrue Lackey are on the U-16 team.
