Boy Battling Cancer Gets Inspiration From Others On Facebook

The parents of a little boy battling a rare form of cancer have turned to the power of social media to help inspire their child.And boy did it work!It was just 2 months ago, That 11-year-old Jackson Standifer was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's {}{}Stage 4 Lymphoma.Since then he's been at Children's Hospital Central California undergoing chemotherapy treatment.However, thanks to his Facebook page, "Team-Jackson- Jax" Jackson knows he's not battling this disease alone.Even some celebrities have signed up with Team Jax, including stars like Ice-T and his wife CoCo, Disney Channel stars, and even former New York Yankee Dave Winfield.Jackson's dad, Lou Standifer says, "It's almost too much to fathom. It's been overwhelming. We look at that page on a daily basis. He gets a lot of love and support from that."Little Jackson says, "It's all been just been amazing. So much love and so much support"Standifer says, "I just want to thank each and every one of them, because it's meant the world to us. He is on an upward swing and he's going to beat this without question. We are handling it, and I should say he's handling it, because of the Team Jax page."By the way, Jackson left the hospital and is now recovering at home.However, he will have to go back to the hospital for some more treatments.Team Jax keep getting better!!!
