Biden To Deliver Gun Recommendations As Soon As Tuesday

Vice president Joe Biden says as early as Tuesday he will deliverrecommendations to president Obama on ways to curb gun violence.

Biden is sitting down with representatives from the National Rifle Associationand other guns rights groups today. It's his second day of meetings to getinput on ways to help stop gun violence.

The NRA has made its position clear:{} no new gun laws. It wants thegovernment to enforce laws already on the books.

Biden says a consensus is emerging over proposals such as tighteningbackground checks and banning high-capacity ammunition magazines.

This task force was formed as a result of the Newtown Connecticutmassacre.
