Bad Night's Sleep - Linked To Pain

Do you have to drag yourself out of bed most mornings? We all feel tired every now and then, but if you feel worn out, often, a new study says this could predict some problems for you down the road.

British researchers studied more than 4,000 adults over the age of 50 who felt good and pain free. They were followed for three years.

During the follow up, nearly one in five reported new widespread pain. When researchers looked into what could be causing the pain, they found those people reporting pain said they regularly had bad quality sleep.

Study authors say the findings suggest doctors should ask their patients about how well they sleep.
