Actor James Gandolfini Dead After Apparent Heart Attack

Actor James Gandolfini, who skyrocketed to fame playing Tony Soprano in the runaway HBO hit "The Sopranos", is dead in Italy after what appears to be a heart attack.

Fox News is reporting that Gandolfini had gone there for a film festival.{} He was 51 years old.

Gandolfini won three Emmy Awards for his work as gangster/mob boss Tony Soprano.{} It was rumored that he was coming back to HBO for a new series.

Gandolfini also played in several hit movies, including "Zero Dark Thirty", "Get Shorty", and "The Mexican".

Gandolfini had two children, one who which was born less than a year ago.{} He leaves behind his wife, Deborah Lin.
