19 Students Stabbed at School in Pennsylvania

20 people are being treated after being stabbed at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this morning. Four students are seriously hurt.

A 16 year boy is in custody. Police and even the FBI are trying to figure out what may have led to the attack.

The sight outside the school early this morning was an unsettling one as a row of ambulances lined the front driveway followed by a line an gurneys to care for all the hurt children.

Doctors describe some of the conditions as severe from deep penetrating stab wounds in the lower abdomen.

All the students who were stabbed are between 14 and 17 years old. One adult was also hurt.

Doctors treating these kids say they likely delivered some of them as babies and are now treating them for serious stab wounds. This is a small, tight knit community.
